Hello

I am new to this forum and would appreciate some help.
My query is this.
I have various positive amounts in each field and one negative amount. there are hundreds of rows and 50 odd columns. the negative amount could be in any column. Is there a way that I can enter in the last column a formula to find the negative amount and put that amount in that column.
I mean something like a lookup or Find..

Many thanks

Welcome to the board!

Could you not just use MIN?

E.g.=MIN(A1:K1)

with a test for it being negative !!!! which was the original requirement

=IF(MIN(A1:Z26)<0, MIN(A1:Z26), "")

I think the OP meant that there is one negative amount in every row of the data field, not only one negative amount in the entire table. (Always room for me to be wrong though ;))
