Finding and updating an order tracker

Hi All,

This is my first post so please be kind.

I want to be able to take a count of the number of rows on 4 sheets in one workbook(producing 4 separate numbers), open another workbook, find the today's date in column A and update the cells to the right with the figures for each sheet.

I could produce the count of each row & open the other workbook, however, I cannot use vb to find the date for that date / output the figures in the correct cells.

Any help would be appreciated
