Hi everyone thank you in advance for your help.

I am doing a medical research project using hospital chart records and data from a trauma registry. I have a list of 1,100 patient medical record numbers in column on B. In columns C through GI, I have different variables that I will be looking at.I am manually entering much of this data, so I am trying to aid in my data entry.

Instead of filling out each patient across their row individually (difficult since each bit of data is scattered among chart records) I have made a seperate sheet ("Pt.InfoWksheet") to use to fill out the data for an individual patient which can then be cleared after all the data is entered and copied and pasted into the masterlist ("Required Patient Info"). Basically this single use sheet has all the variables in the same order, but is vertically oriented, with spaces and headers so I can easily find each of the variables.

I have then made a seperate sheet ("Pt. Long Sheet") with all the variables still in vertical format but with the headers and spaces gone. The variables are being auto filled in from the single use sheet.

My main problem is that I need a macro to copy paste and the data on the long sheet, BUT to the row with the correct patient medical record number in the master sheet. Thank you for your help.

I am using excel 2010.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
