Finding dependancies between Sheets

I have received a spread sheet that I need to reverse engineer (excuse me if I have chosen the wrong words) but I am not having any luck finding what is referencing a particular cell. I can use the dependancy 'button' but this doesn't help when the reference is on another sheet, it only tells me that there is a dependancy. Is there a way to find what cell(s) is referencing a particular cell even when it is on another sheet?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Welcome to the board.

If you go to tools --> formula auditing --> trace dependents, Excel will show an arrow pointing to an icon of a spreadsheet if there is a dependent cell on another page. Try double clicking on the arrow for a list of dependents.
