finding how many time each item appear in specific range

HI all...
i just want to ask about finding how many time each item appear in specific range
for example:
apple
banana
grape
apple
mangosten
orange
banana
banana
mangosten

in that list we should get :
apple=2
banana=3
grape=1
apple=2
mangosten=2
orange=1
banana=3
banana=3
mangosten=2

if im using =COUNTIF(F6:F14,"apple") then i can get the result of apple.. and just keep changing underlined word but if then i have so many data, i cant do that, is there any solution? Thanks

or you can use Pivot Table.
But I'm not sure about he result you get(twice)
