Finding the products in a table

I'm new here, so if this has been answered, maybe someone can direct me to a previous thread.

I am creating a table that has numbers down the left side and percentages across the top. I want to fill in the numbers in the table with the product of the correlating row/column. I have had zero success with putting in a function. Everytime I use the product function and highlight all of the empty cells in a row or column, it multiplies the previous cell, so it is a continuous equation, if that makes sense. Hopefully someone can help me--I've been wanting to complete this chart for 5 years, and I keep putting it off cause I don't want to have to calculate each individual cell with a calculator!

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Are you saying that you have something like

A2:A5 houses 10, 20, 25, 28

B1:E1 houses 0.2, 0.3, 0.34, 0,41

and B2:E5 must be filled with:

10*0.2
10*0.3

etc.?
