When the shift key is held down, auto code does not run. Can someone tell me how to disable in Excel? Also, is there a way to not allow a user to "disable macros" when a workbook opens?

Thank you
Bill

this is a dangerous code to use.
try it at your own danger
IT will work once the macros have been enabled.

'turns Shift off
Application.OnKey "+", ""

'turns Shift on
Application.OnKey "+"

this is untested. I aint game enough!

Nice, you would want to either hide all the sheets and unhide them on enter or setup the file as an addin and unset it on enter, there are a few ways but im not sure of a full proof way of doing it other than turning there macro protection off which has to be done at a prior time good luck
