Hi, I would like to automatically format a cell based on currency type for example if have a drop down list in A1 of Dollar, GBP, Euro and I select say Dollar I would like cell C1 to auto format to show dollar sign in front of the value, similarly if I select Euro I would like C1 to update to show Euro sign.

I have been trying IF statements but do not know how to say if .... format like....

Any help gratefully received
