I am trying to sum to numbers but need it show either positive or negative (99% of time it will be positive) with text after the result. For example:

I tried ="+"&sum(a1-a2)&" weekly change"

but my answer came out as: +14.6153846153846 weekly change.

I am trying for: +14.6 weekly change.

Thank you,
James

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
How about
Excel Formula:
=ROUND(SUM(A1-A2),1)&" weekly change"

If you need the + sign for positive number
Excel Formula:
=LET(s,ROUND(SUM(A1-A2),1),IF(SIGN(s)>0,"+","")&s&" weekly change")

Is that what you want?
Excel Formula:
=IF(A1<A2,"-","+") & ROUND(A1-A2,1) & " weekly change"
