Hi All,
In columnA starting at row 29, I have the date repeated down many rows.

In columnQ commencing at row 29, I have positive and negative numbers.

How can I find the sum of columnQ which corresponds to the repeated date in A.

Example:
ColA ColQ
10/6/06 -6
10/6/06 8
10/6/06 15
10/6/06 -3

Answer: 10/6/06 is 14

Could anyone help please.
Regards,
RC

Hi

If you enter the date you want the total for into (lets say) cell B25, then in cell B26 enter this :

=SUMIF(A29:A100,"="&B25,Q29:Q100)

Extend the range beyond 100 rows to suit.
