Formula Help to copy the contents of a cell into another cell when blank.

Any help / tips would be greatly apprecaited.
I am looking for a formula that will check if a cell is blank, and if it is blank, will copy the contents of another cell into the blank cell.

I have highlighted 3 scenarios below (there's a forth of [blank] / [blank] - but this is ignored:
GivenNameSeq1 GivenNameSeq2 First Name Middle Name</SPAN></SPAN>
1 Tony Tiger Tony Tiger</SPAN></SPAN>
2 Tony [blank] Tony</SPAN></SPAN>
3 [blank] Tony Tony


Rule1: Get First Name by scanning GivenNameSeq1 and GivenNameSeq2 in that order. First Name is the first non blank.

Given your data in Column A and B.
maybe in C some such as =IF(ISBLANK(A2),B2,A2)
