what formula can i use to look for a word within 10 rows, and if the word is found to give me "Check Order".

example

In L13 have the formula

IF(F4:F13="Total","Check Order","Looks Good") and Ideas

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Try something like this
=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH("Total",F4:F13,0)),"Check Order","Looks Good")

This is what you need to do use the formula and just copy down 10 rows.

=IF(A1=10,"Check order", "Looks Good")

Hope this helps
