FD Sheet MrExcel copy.xlsx

Hello! I have been working on this spreadsheet for some time now and have a quick question on ways to fix an error I am having.

I am having issues with the sheet named “Slate Matchups”. The sheet is created around NBA games and the table in the top left of the sheet is the nightly matchup. On the right I have open spots for 9 games. Under Home Team and Away Team the team name is listed below that was created from the table.

Everything works as it should until I refresh my PowerQuery. If there is no value in the table in the top left, the value that gets displayed is an error code #REF and my previous formula in the cells below Home Team and Away Team become useless and requires me to rewrite them for a single use just for them to be broken again.

Is there a way I can prevent a refresh from breaking my formula as there is not 9 games every single night. It’s very time consuming fixing 14 formulas on a night where only 2 games were played.

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
