Formula retrieving

Hi everyone.
Incredible stupid question, please forgive:
I have an excel spreadsheet with a lot of formulas and stuff.
Everytime I share this workbook I "remove" the formulas by maintaining the values ("copy" then "Paste values").
What happened: lost my base file with the formulas having right now only a spreadsheet with values.
Is there any chance that the formulas can be retrieved from the "only-values" excel file?
Long shot I know but, I don't know, all of the sudden there is a remote place in the file where that was stored.
Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
No, there is no memory of what the formulas were before you changed them to hard-coded values.
Hopefully, you have a backup somewhere that you can restore that has the version with formulas.

I would also recommend making your "base file" read-only going forward.
Then you cannot save over the original, and only do a "Save As" to save a copy.
That should prevent you from doing something like that again.

Also make sure that you have some sort of backup schedule that backs up your files (and you can retrieve them).

Solution
Thanks Joe4
I do have a backup with the file but I lost some of the formulas (rookie mistake...but well, it's done, it's done)
I figured that it would be impossible.
Learned my lesson :)
Thx

You are welcome.

If it is possible you may have other copies of it that were deleted, you can try checking your Recycle bin.
Shot in the dark, but just wanted to throw that out there, just in case.
