Hi Everyone,

I am currently trying to create an excel formula which states that if a cell is blank, then use the value value above. While I know that there is a fill blank function, I would like to create a formula that accomplishes this. I am attaching an image below of what I am trying to accomplish. Column C represents the current values, while Column D represents what I am trying to achieve. Any help would be greatly appreciated-thank you!

How about
Excel Formula:
=IF(C2<>"",C2,D1)

There a couple of steps
-select column A
-hit F5 and click Special cells...
-select blanks and OK
blank cells will be selected
-type "=" to enter the formula(do not select any cells or formula bar)
-hit the up arrow and press Ctrl + Enter to enter the formula in all selected cells

Solution
Another means is to bring your data to Power Query (Get and Transform Data) on the Data Tab. Once in the PQ Editor, right click on the column in question. Select Fill and Fill Down. Close and Load back to Native Excel.
