Formula Won't Calculate

Code:
=NETWORKDAYS(DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),1),TODAY()-1)

This formula won't calculate on its own. Hitting F9 does not work. I have to enter into edit mode in the cell with this formula and hit enter. I have calculation set to automatic.

Anyone ever hear of something like this?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Are you sure it's formula specific? Try using find and replace to replace = with =...That seems to fix the F2--> Enter oddity like you're describing.

What do you mean formula specific? Its recognized as a formula and will calculate but only when I enter in and out of edit mode.

Strange issue...
