Hi there

I have the following formula that I usually use in my sheet.

=IF(W3<TODAY()-14;"expired";"approved")

Unfortunately, I have to go back to the 28-12-2008 to recreate the data. Am I able to put in the 28-12-2008 instead of TODAY? I could not figure it out.

Thank you for your help

Hi, your formula is missing from your post.

In any case, I would put your date in another cell and refer to that cell in your formula.

Hi Roman

If I understood correctly you want to replace Today() in the formula

=IF(W3<TODAY()-14;"expired";"approved")

by the date 28-12-2008

Try:

=IF(W3<DATE(2008,12,28)-14;"expired";"approved")

or

=IF(W3<"2008-12-28"-14;"expired";"approved")

or enter the date in another cell and use it to reference the data, like:

=IF(W3<A1-14;"expired";"approved")

Hi again

I tried your idea, but unfortunately an inconsistent formula is created.

IF(W3<TODAY()-14;"expired";"approved")

new formula after your suggestion
IF(W4<$AW$1;"expired";"approved")

Do you have any other idea?
