Formulla contains an special "text"

Hi

I would like to write a formulla which contains an speciall text. for example in bellow formulla:

A2: New 12 =if(A2="New 12",1,0)======>1

Now, I have a lot of name starting with "New" I want to now how I can extend my formulla to give me "1" for all cells starting with "New" or containing "New" in Middle:

I tried: =If(A2="New*",1,0) but didn't work.

I'm looking for a general answer to make me able use this rule for all formullas.

Any help is appreciated.

=IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("New",A1)),1,0)
