forumla to drop letters

Hi I have a list of numbers in Column A
I want a formula for Column B that will enter the number in the corresponding cell in A but ignore the first 4 numbers.

Can this be done?

I have another sheet. Similar scenario except I just want it to ignore the last digit?

Can you tell me this formula?
