I'm looking for a VBA solution to put a sheetname in a cell.

I want to put this in a cell

=FUNCTION(Sheet01)

And get the name of the tab in return.

Does anyone know of a function that does this?

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Is this something like what you're after?

Function TABNAME(sheetnum As Long) As String
TABNAME = Sheets(sheetnum).Name
End Function

Usage: =TABNAME(1) will return the name of the tab. If you wanted to use 'Sheet01' in the function you could add some code to extract the number out of the string.
