Hello all,
I am trying to write an excel function to get the color index (according to column 2 of this chart: color indexes in excel) for all cells in column 1. I tried:

Function NumColor()
NumCouleur = Cells(1, Row).Font.ColorIndex
End Function

I get the error message "NumCouleur is empty".

Thanks for any help!

André

Try this
VBA Code:
Sub Test()
    Debug.Print NumColor(1)
End Sub

Function NumColor(iCol)
    NumColor = Cells(1, iCol).Font.ColorIndex
End Function
