Get current customer ID from an open SAP instance

I wrote a simple read-only SQL analysis on the SAP b1 database using adodb. However, I have to open an inputbox to enter the customer id and save this step. Would it be possible to connect it to the order acceptance window in sap and automatically update the excel spreadsheet when a new customer is entered in sap? Is it possible at all? And if it is is it easy enough for vba beginners?

Any help would be appreciated.
