Hi,
I've a column of dates in a column and I want to mark some dates as passed, so I need to compare them to the current date.
Could someone tell me how to (if possible) get the system date and plug it into a cell, say when the file is opened (Worksheet_Open(...) maybe?)
Thanks for the help

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
No need to use VBA, just type into a cell

=TODAY()

to give the current date. The TODAY() function is also volatile (ie will update when the system date changes).
