Get the value from the option button into the table

I created an option group with option buttons in it like A, B, C, and D. Now, how could I transfer the selected option value to my table? I have a 'status' field for my table with a text data type.

I am new in this and your expertise would surely appreciated.

You may want to try to make it a "Bound" control.
