Table1: Among many columns, I have a column with whole numbers and also text.
In PQ, I will do a Merge on the above table with another lookup table (Table2). It seems to work fine in PQ editor since I can expand the new column from Table2.

But when I try to Load To as a pivot table or Table, I get the error: [DataFormat.Error] We couldn't convert to Number.
It seems the error is caused by the column mentioned in Table1.

I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Perhaps there is something I'm overlooking? When doing a Merge on the column from Table1 (with numbers and text), should it only be one data type?

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Nevermind, I fixed it. I just left the data type as is (after importing the tables into PQ) for the columns in question and the appending worked with no errors.
