I'm working with a pivot table and have data going back to 2007. I would like to go back a year from today, so looking at data from July 2010 to July 2011. These dates would change given the time of year I'm in.

So far I have been able to group the dates by year and then month. The problem with this is if I select 2010 and 2011 along with June, the results I get are from June 2010 and June 2011.

I'm assuming I need to have a before mm/dd/yyyy and after mm/dd/yyyy but I don't know if this is true or how to do it.

Any help would be great!

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
You could add a column XX with a formula which would return 1 if the date is in the range you want and 0 otherwise. Include XX in the page filter section and set it to 1.
Hope this helps...
