Hi

Please tell me this isn't possible if so.

I have a google sheets that has check boxes (D3) which require a date in cell next to it (E3) and I would like to take out formatting issues by using a formula to input the date

I have managed to get
Excel Formula:
=if(D5=true,TODAY(), "")
to work but this just shows the date if i put
Excel Formula:
=if(D5=true,NOW(), "")
also works but as i have more than one tick box it refreshes to that new tick moment.

any thoughts would be appriciated
Regards
Matthew

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
