Hello guys,

Having a problem with a graph. Basically, I'm trying to display figure across 12 months. However, for the months that have not happened yet I do not have figures for. Eg. June onwards this year. At the moment the line graph is displaying all of these figures as zero so it makes the line plummet down and continue until December which is pretty unsightly for my boss and visitors to our company. I would like the graph not to display results that do not have anything in them.

How can I do this? Is there a formula I can put in my range so that it does not display empty cells.

I could of course manually change the range each time but considering there is more than one graph and many different users it is not very good.

Best Regards,

James

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
if you force the formula you use to get the data to result yo #n/a, then you will get the result you want.

Say your data is a result of vlookup, or index match or just simple equal to , if you construct it as :
=if(your formula here=0,na(),your formula)
