I have a problem I can't figure out.

I have 2 number such as this:
%gross margin %growth
eggs 73% 467%

How do I get excel to graph the numbers as one point?

for example, i would like to have %gross margin on the x axis and % growth on the y axis and have one singular point for the eggs (of course I have much more than one item).

Is this possible/
Many many thanks for any help,
Sean

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
If you have multiple data points, what you want would be impossible -- unless your data have a strict relation between the 2 sets of values (gross margin and growth).

You should look at alternatives such as a bubble chart or plotting just one of the 2 series and using the other as a data label.

Another option would be to put one of the 2 on the x axis and the other on the y axis. Then, use the category (eggs in your single-point example) as a data label.
