automatically say any name

like

rcc100 kamlesh

pls help

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Welcome to the Board!

Where is the name coming from?
Is there a list to choose from somewhere on your spreadsheet?

No, I was asking where the name "kamlesh" is coming from. Maybe you are just hard-coding it right in the formula? If so, then just enter this in cell B1:

Code:
= A1 & " kamlesh"

The reason why you are not getting the answer you want is because it appears that you question is incomplete and lacking in important details.

If you are not hard coding the name in cell B1, where is this information coming from?
Is it being looked up from some list somewhere?
Where is that list?
How is it structured?
What about C1? Where is that information coming from?

I really don't know how to help me when you don't answer the questions I am asking you.

Are you wanting to create a lookup list, so that when you type in a certain value, it looks up that value in that pre-existing list your created?

If so, it sounds like VoG's response will do what you want. Take a look at the link he provided. Also, if you look in Excel's help files, you will find detailed explanation and examples on the VLOOKUP function.

If cell C2 has the text RCC100 in it, then cell D2 must automatically have the NAME (ANY NAME) inserted ( AS I GIVEN THE NAME )
If cell C3 has the text RCC101 in it, then cell D3 must automatically have the NAME (ANY NAME) inserted, AS I FEED
