Hi,

i want to count with two different conditions.
For an example i have a sheet which contain my daily report with complete date and what i have made that day. like pen, pencil, rubber etc.

i want to count that how many pen for a particular day i have made?

can any one please help me!:(

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Suppose you have data from A:B.

A column Item (pen,pencil,rubber,etc)
B Column date (15-Jul-13...)

D1 AND E1 will have Pen and 15-Jul-13

Please apply the below formula in E3
=COUNTIFS(A2:A13,$D$1,B2:B13,$E$1)

Thanks,,
SK

confirmed with CTRL+Shift+Enter
In E1. Enter the date
