Help me round this plz

I have an Excel project for school and I cant figure out how to round a number(digit) if its odd or even. Example:

rounding rules for values ending in 5: 2.765--> 2.76 number preceding the 5 is even, round down

but 2.775--> 2.78 number preceding the 5 is odd, round up

Do I have to use Clever round? I am lost on this one.

Hi, Perhaps something like :-!!

 =IF(MOD( LEFT(RIGHT(A1,2),1),2)-0,ROUNDUP(A1,2), ROUNDDOWN(A1,2))
