help needed with difficult excel formula

First off, thank you to all in advance for helping me solve this formula request.. I truly appreciate the time and effort every time I've reached out for help.

Secondly, I'm not able to use the excel plugin due to the company issued laptop I am using.. I apologize in advance as i understand it's preferred.

With that, can someone please help me with the following?

Looking for a formula that when Current Period in Cell A1 gets updated, that it sums all activity spanning Period 1 through Period 3 in the table below for the Account in cell A2.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
If A1 was 2 would you only want to sum periods 1 & 2?

Ok, how about
Excel Formula:
=SUMPRODUCT((A7:A11=A2)*(B6:D6<=A1),B7:D11)
