Hi - Is there a way of inserting the row index number automatically into a Hlookup formula so that if I "drag" the Hlookup formula down the page it will automatically change the row index number accordingly?

Many thanks

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Hello,

you could use row() and adjust it for the row you are in.

Why not post your formula?

Sorted

I think it was a simple as "onlyadrafter" has suggested - I just didn't realise that inserting row() would work inside the hlookup but it seems that it does!

Thanks very much
