I’m using Excel 2010 and Windows 7.
I need help in how to set up a bar graph. On the Y-axis I’d like to have the months of the year (Jan, Feb, Mar, etc.), the X-axis needs to be my data sets (Service Charges, Non-Interest Expense, Net Income…all YTD figures). I’ve already calculated where I’m at to goal on my X-axis data sets. For example, my YTD budget for Net Income is $1000, and as of May I’m at $480, or 48% to goal.
I want my graph to show that YTD Net Income in May is 48%, which exceeds the May target of 42% (5 months into the year is 42%). I’d like to also have a line at the 42% level on the graph so it would be easier to see what is above and below goal.
For info purposes, here is the data I’m working with:
Service Charges: 41.3%
Non-Interest Expense: 37.6%
Net Income: 48.3%
Appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks
