I'd like some help automating the verification of selected cells. I have a spreadsheet where I'm comparing the dominant component for two samples. In the attached image, Column G is =MAX(C:E) and Column M is, similarly =MAX(I:K). In this example, it is easy to visually verify that the values for Rows 2 and 3 are Columns C and I. But, for a spreadsheet with many more rows, it becomes more difficult, so I'd like to automate it.

Is it possible to create an IF/THEN formula or VBA that would provide a TRUE/FALSE value in Column N. So, if C and I were the selected cells it would be TRUE but it C and either J or K were selected it would be FALSE. In the image, the values in Column N are just typed in, as an example.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
How about
Excel Formula:
=AND(C2=MAX(C2:E2),I2=MAX(I2:K2))

Yep, I was definitely overthinking it. Here's what it ended up looking like for me, =IF(AND(C2=MAX(C2:E2),I2=MAX(I2:K2)),TRUE,FALSE). Thanks, Fluff!
