Hello there,
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
This is my second time to ask a question, my first experience was absolutely wonderful, the reply back was almost instant.
Ok, I am reconciling a bank and the check number where there is a check skipped is followed by an asterisk (*)
The bank statement is huge and the idea of deleting this asterisk manually is just scary.
I tried the find and replace deal but it did not work.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Here is how a check number looks like if the 22512*
:eeek:

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
The * is a wildcard so in order to use it in the find/replace you must put the "~" in front of it.
