Hi every one

Sorry for my english.

Need some help for making this formula better: =RANK(C2,$C$2:$C$20)+COUNTIF(A$1:A1,C2)

The formula help ranking sales associates, but I also have a VLOOKUP that place then on other cell. So for example in cell B2 to B10 I enter result of all associates. But somethime there is two or more associates that have the same result. When that happen the result in cell where the formula is, will be for example 8 place. So 3 peoples finish in 8 place. My other formula is this:
=VLOOKUP($A42,$A$2:$C$10,2,FALSE)
Because I have more than one person that as the same result it give me this result #N/A Is there a way to fix this?

Thank You

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.

Can you give us an example? I'm not sure how you'd end up with
So 3 peoples finish in 8 place
using your RANK + COUNTIF formula.

Also, what is in A42?
