This will make any error values disappear

=IF(ISERROR(SUM(M6:L6)),"",SUM(M6:L6))

edit:

if if i read your post properly this will make an error appear as 0

=IF(ISERROR(SUM(M6:L6)),"0",SUM(M6:L6))

Doesn't:

=SUM(L6:M6)

do the job?

hi Jamie....that does not work ...some more infi the values are in a precentage....and thanks

i think the problem lies a bit deeper,

are L6 and M6 getting values from other formula?
and are they formatted as percentages?

testing on base values shows no problems.

Hi Jamie....yes that is correct....i have a work sheet that totals to a cell and then to the sum sheet......all in percentages.....

ok the first is from a work sheet .....=IF(X75=0,"",SUM(X75/Y75))
then the sum sheet =NOV!AA73,=NOV!AA74,=NOV!AA75,=SUM(M6+L6)

back to you
