Hello,

I am just confused right now with a formula I'm trying to write. I can get a basic formula down, but when I try to add more, I get a "too many arguements" message.

Here's what I want to do: If A1<>0 and b1=0 then "Enter Data" else "OK" and IF A1=0 and B1<>0 then "Enter Data" else "OK", IF A1=0 and B1=0 then leave cell blank.

Here's as much as I can get to work: =IF(A1<>0,IF(B1=o,"Enter B1","OK"))

Basically I need data in both cells A1 and B1 and need to flag my users who are only filling in one of the two cells to enter in both. There are about 1000 rows, so, I need some way for users to easily filter the rows with their missing data.

I've tried adding the other conditions in various ways using AND, OR and lots of IFs, but just get errors.

Is it possible and if it is, what is the correct sentence.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Try:

=IF(A1+B1=0,"",IF(OR(And(A1<>0,B1=0),And(A1=0,B1<>0)),"Enter Data","Ok"))
