Is there any way to print only the rows of a worksheet that are hidden.
What exactly can I do with my hidden rows? print?, move?, copy to another worksheet? etc.....

I have a mailing list database in excel and I need to remove the returned mail address. Looking for an easier way than cut & paste.

Please HELP javascript:emoticon('')

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.

Why hide them?

Could you add another colum to the list to show those clients that had mail returned and those that didn't. Then you could filter on the list and delete the ones that had mail returned or copy the ones who didn't to your mail merge file or whatever.

Or you could sort the returned mail colum so the returned mail ones are at the bottom (or top) for cutting and pasting elsewhere

cheers

Hi Roll Eyes:

Welcome to MrExcel Board!

Have you considered using Custom Views -- one for normal viewing and printing -- and another one for viewing and printing hidden rows only? Please post back if you need to discuss this further!

Duh....!!!!!, I was having a brain freeze! javascript:emoticon('')
Bang head

Of course, I have done this before, but so long ago I had forgotten the trick
I'll add a column, put a "1" beside the bad ones, and a "2" for the good addresses. SORT and ........ (y)

Thanks again, Lynnette
