How can I auto-populate a column with cells from another sheet?

Hello,
This is my first post.
A quick bio: I use Excel often at work. However, I only know how to do the basic arithmetic formulas. I use Excel mainly to keep track of serialized oilfield equipment which can vary from the hundreds to tens of thousands.

I often make transmittal sheets to reflect what equipment we've sent out to a customer and records of receipts of what equipment was returned from that customer.

I need to know if there's a macro I can make (or if you can help me make) to populate these serial number spreadsheets. I already have a macro setup where it would select 50 cells down, then cut. From there I would go to the other serial number sheet to paste. But it can still be time-consuming at times.

I have to put them on a template of serialized sheets of 400 serial numbers per page in order to make it look presentable. I also have to print them out to give to give to customers.

Here's what the sheet of what the file would be with all serial numbers lined up in a single column:

Here's the "serial number" sheet that I need to populate that would need to remain in a presentable fashion:

Notice that each sheet is in sets of 400 serial numbers.
The first page goes from 1 to 400, the second page goes from 401 to 800. It keeps repeating itself that way.

I appreciate yall's help on this.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Neither will open! If you have a common value then use a lookup or index/match formula.

adanvjr,

Welcome to the MrExcel forum.

1. What version of Excel and Windows are you using?

2. Are you using a PC or a Mac?

You are posting pictures/graphics/images. This means that if this was a problem where one needed to use your data, anyone trying to help you would have to enter the data manually. That makes no sense.

Because of the size of your raw data, screenshots are probably out of the question.

To start off, and, so that we can get it right on the first try:

You can upload your workbook to Box Net,

sensitive data changed

mark the workbook for sharing

and provide us with a link to your workbook.

The three worksheets contain different information???

Click on the Reply to Thread button, and just put the word BUMP in the thread. Then, click on the Post Quick Reply button, and someone else will assist you.

Yes.

I figured out a solution to the problem.
It's a simple, but very long formula.

Thanks anyways.
