How can I insert data from a matrix into a chart?

Hello, I am trying to create my chart from a variable that I have as an array, but I get error 424 "object is required". Someone help me please
ActiveSheet.Shapes.AddChart2(240, xlXYScatter).Select
ActiveChart.SetSourceData Source:= "here i put my matrix"

I also used "set" to specify my range in cells but i would like to work with matrix data, because i don't want my operations shows in cells
