How can I test Excel file as if opening in Europe with different number format?

Hello-
I've made a large Excel file (lots of sheets, lots of complex formula), and when used by others in Europe it changes number formats correspondingly.
So "," turns to "." for example (where in most European languages the decimal separator is a comma). This in turns "breaks" the file somehow, and I'm trying to troubleshoot where it is breaking.

Is there an easy way in Excel for Mac 2011 to switch over from US to European number format so I am seeing the spreadsheet as someone in Europe would when opening?

Thanks everyone

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Look to the genius, Ron de Bruin for the answers: Excel version and Office language settings

Code:
Sub Test1()
    Select Case Application.International(xlCountryCode)
Case 31: MsgBox "Run code for Dutch"
Case 7: MsgBox "Run code for Russian"
Case Else: MsgBox "Run code for English (default)"
    End Select
End Sub

So here, US would be 1. There's a link on Ron's page to identify the different country codes, or google it.

Hope it helps!

edit:
the link has the code for mac (I don't have access a mac to test code on @ work)
