How Do I Delete a Massive Amount of Information On An Excel Page.

I have rows 1-8800 with information I don't want to delete.

I have rows 8801 to 145,000 with information I do want to delete completely

If I highlight 8801 and drag it down to row 145,000 and then right click and delete the information it will takes me over 20 minutes to delete this information.

Is there a simple faster way to delete this information without dragging it down the page and slowing waiting for everything to get highlighted and then deleteing it.

Thanks
Zotah

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
For non-vba solution, try:
1) In the name box, type: A8801:A145000
2) Home Tab --> Cells Group --> Delete drop down --> Delete sheet rows
