Hi,

Hopefully you can help me, this problem has been killing me.

My calculations seem right in that i'm using the following formula to produce a list of project items - and the delviery dates dont include weekends.

C=number of days
E=End date
I=start date

=IF((WEEKDAY(E18,2)+C19)<6,E18+C19,IF((WEEKDAY(E18)+C19)<12,E18+C19+2,IF((WEEKDAY(E18)+C19)<17,E18+C19+4,E18+C19+6)))

All is good. I chart this using stacked columns to display the start date and number of days (then deleting the start date) the remaining days look like a simple gannt chart. However, a 10 day project item spans over the weekends in the chart - how do i get it not to include weekends in this 10 day period?

Thanks guys,

Andrew

Ps- i'm using Excel 2004 for Macs
