How do I make Excel disappear while running VBA?

I'm writing an application that works only through form modules. I'd like Excel itself to minimize and leave only the form on the screen.

My application runs automatically when the workbook opens. The VBA commands are--

Application.WindowState = xlMinimized
frmMyForm.Show

Excel minimizes, and then the Excel toolbar icon flashes. When the icon is clicked, MyForm comes up.

I'd like MyForm to appear without the icon's having to be clicked.

I'm running Office 2000 under Windows 98 on a Compaq laptop.

Any bright ideas? Thank you.

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Going one step further with the above code, is it possible to have EXCEL stay minimized upon opening so that the form itself just appears? Application.Screenupdating=false doesn't seem to work, or perhaps I have it placed in the wrong area.
