Hello.
I am new to the board and am trying to learn Excel Windows XP on my own.
I have created a vendor list for my business . Business name is in first column,Row A. In Row B,C,D, etc. I have listed telephone numbers, fax numbers, web site addresses, etc. Some of these columns may have more than one line. I need to alphabetize the name of the businesses but carry along with the business name the other info in the other rows. I know this may be very elementary to most of you here but as I stated I am just learning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Welcome to the Board.

To do that you will have to put a business name in each row in column A. Then sort all the data by column A.
