Is there a way - whether VBA or not - to clear an AutoFilter's filters but retain the sort (arrows on the AutoFilter dropdowns)?

I have read that ActiveSheet.ShowAllData does this... but when I use it, it also clears the sort, so I'm not sure what else to try?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Try this...

If ActiveSheet.FilterMode Then ActiveSheet.ShowAllData

It worked for me and kept the autofilter dropdown arrows.

Give this a try...

ActiveSheet.Autofilter.Range.Autofilter
