I have a spreadsheet I want to have my employees be able to click on and browse to images and add the image in the cell. How do I add an image placeholder, please?

Thank you in advance for any and all answers. It is greatly appreciated

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Are you trying to add a shape over top of the cell sized exactly the same as the cell height, width, length or make the image the background of the cell?

What I want is a cell an employee can click on that has an IMAGE placeholder so they know where the image is to be saved in the workbook sheet and a folder dialog box opens to allow them to select an image to insert in the cell

Do you have a picture or sample sheet to show what you are trying to accomplish?

I have an inventory sheet with item numbers, descriptions, quantity, and I need my warehouse personnel to match the inventory items to pictures taken by my receiving team with a picture they take on checking the inventory in. The warehouse needs to be able to identify by the description, Item number, and an IMAGE
